“Early intervention is the key to unlocking a child’s full potential.”
— Unknown (Early Childhood Education)
Early Steps

Early Steps is Florida’s early intervention program designed to support infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) who have developmental delays or disabilities. Through individualized, family-centered services, Early Steps provides therapies, coaching, and resources in the child’s natural environment—such as their home or daycare—to promote developmental progress in areas like communication, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development. The program collaborates with families to create tailored plans that empower parents and caregivers to support their child’s growth.

Infant Toddler Developmental Specialists (ITDS) play a vital role in Early Steps, delivering hands-on developmental therapy and coaching to families. These professionals assess a child’s developmental needs, design individualized interventions, and work closely with parents to teach strategies that enhance their child’s skills during everyday routines. ITDS providers use evidence-based practices to foster progress in areas such as language, play, and adaptive behaviors, ensuring interventions are engaging and effective.

Foundation Intervention Services LLC proudly offers Early Steps services across Florida’s Treasure Coast, including Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties. Our certified Infant Toddler Developmental Specialists provide compassionate, expert support to help young children and their families thrive through personalized therapy and coaching.
